Photosynthesis in a leaf

Photosynthesis happens in chloroplasts. Chlorophyll absorbs light energy. The leaf uses carbon dioxide from air and water from roots to make glucose, then releases oxygen. The glucose can be stored as starch.

Plants use sunlight and green chlorophyll to make food. Carbon dioxide is needed, and oxygen comes out. I am not sure where water is used.
